So she did die from being neglected and not remembered so I remember reading a comment saying that the winter spirit revived her it kinda did also hint that in the recent chs the red head could sense that she is dead and the that blue spirit had something to do with it.

I hoped that help. The rest is just speculation. I think the mom was a special case. She died because she gave birth cuz I remember that history recorder with long red hair stated that it’s a form of suicide when the special clan gives birth to someone outside (I believe along that line) so like when she died obviously no one will remember her with the exception of her daughter and if no one remembers the mom then no one will remember the daughter she gave birth to
