Eren actions did destroy paths and all titans. Hr could never be with them because there is no path there anymore.
He had to kill so many people so that his loved ones could live a normal life without war. No one could attack them, even if they wanted to, because too few are alive.
Eren still is a protagonist and antagonist, but at least everything worked out.
I AGREE WITH ALL YOU'VE SAID! This is why I'm not a fan of open-endings. It raises more questions than answers. Lol. Paradis now has the Yeagerist army who views Eren as a hero, while the rest of the world thinks of him as the great evil murderer. See where this is heading? What I got with this is the idea that, conflict will always arise and that the only way to gain peace is when one of the conflicting parties dies. What a cycle of hatred and prejudice. Peace is for a brief experience only.
okay my first question :
whose goddamn baby is that.
Like we still don't know who the father of Historia's kid is! She got dem big bushy Jaeger brows...but her eyes are very dark? Odd...
There are still a lot of unanswered questions tbh. There's good stuff, like when i saw that Levi, Jean, Connie and Reiner were okay i sobbed. There was such a big sigh of relief i kid you not!
I didn't really care that Eren died...this might just be me but i feel like the whole 'i had to die and kill humanity in order for it to be saved' wasn't explained all that well and it just left me with a bitter taste in my mouth.
I'm also really sad we didn't get a glimpse of Eren with the other titan shifters, like let him have his peace, let him hug his dad, Ymir and Bertholdt. It was a good ending, not the best, but acceptable enough. It's gonna be hard to let go, i started this when i was 16, i'm 24 now. I'm gonna miss the whole squad.
