ill try to explain bc it makes 0 sense but, since eren now has the power of god basically, he can controll the titans. That meaning in season 1, he sent dina's titan to eat carla on purpose to give his younger self a reason for revenge and motivation for the future eren, who (now) controls everything. So in chapter 1 dina's titan was going to eat bertholdt, and eren needed bert to feed to armin for resurrecting him in season 3 so he sacrficed his mom to save him lol.
ALSO since he can control everything he could have avoided literally all deaths in all seasons but didnt, i want what isayama is smoking
