[Richard & His story]

Richard so far, has no development. Now don’t get me wrong he has a sad ass past. His mother was a commoner who slept with the duke (the duke is evil, basically cause he jealous he didn’t get to be emperor but it was cause he was a corrupt evil fucker) was forced into exile because the duke slept with her and got her pregnant (with Richard) but wouldn’t accept it because “it was a disgrace to his name”. So yeah my poor girl was forced to live off and so she raised Richard. Actually was an adorable kid (or at least that’s what I understood) and then...
yeah so the mom got sick at one point. He was very young. He was afraid she would die, but she told him to not worry. Him being the dumb dumb he was, went to beg the duke for help.
“She’s sick help my mother please!” Richard said. Well the duke kills her because he thinks she caught a contagious disease.
“She’s just a low rat so kill her.” and boom. That’s why Richard is so fucked up. After that he decides to pretend to care for the duke in order to eventually have enough power to kill him and his brothers (his brothers are also shitholes exactly like the dad). Richard starts to read about his mother’s sickness and discovers she actually didn’t have that disease, so basically the duke killed his own mother in front of him for no reason. Still no excuse for how dicky he is, but dang this boi has trauma.
As you can see, Richard is willing to do whatever he has to climb to the kings/emperor seat. In the OG novel, he kills his own family and even causes the death of our male lead dad (HES SUCH A HUBBY, MORE ON HIM LATER). He kills everyone in the OG novel. Our mc actually becomes his new target, but the old owner (the OG Ancia) actually liked Richard because he was nice to her (he was always nice to nobles in case he could use them later on) but she kinda got obsessed. Of course, Richard didn’t accept her confessions. Richard however, will indeed fall in love with Ancia.
“Wow she hates me so imma make her my queen.” basically what Richard thinks the whole time. I actually really dislike him all he does is disturb the Blake and Ancia romance ;-;
however, there is a scene where we see he goes to visit his mothers “grave” which is more flowers next to a tree because she came from a culture where that was the best way they were buried. I forgot if the mom was a slave or commoner, but she was one of those :/ anyways so Ancia bumps into him there and ties a handkerchief which stands for honoring the dead one, so Richard fell in even harder. This was one of the only scenes I didn’t detest Richard. Anyways he pretty much stays the same annoying brat so far thrgh chapter 50 (that’s where I’m at :3)

This is gonna be long :3
So imma start with the OG Ancia. She dies because she committed suicide by drowning in the lake. It was her choice and she was just a dumb little girl right?
WRONG :) so basically the og Ancia is abused by her father a lot because he is like a higher status then his 1st wife (who is Ancias mom) and so he detested his wife and the marriage. He only married her for the money (gold digger fucker ;-;) and then when she gave birth to a baby he was disgusted. She died (she died really early I’m not sure if right after birth or a couple of months) and he runs and marries someone of his same status. This dude is like, wow I’m so perfect with the perfect family. His second wife gives birth the Diana (more on her, but for no you just need to know she’s the second daughter, sister of Ancia, and heroine in the OG novel). This fucker abused Ancia, and he would fonstantly hit, whack, whip, scream, yell and do everything to Ancia. Diana broke something? Oh Ancia did it. Diana failed a class? It’s all Ancia. This fucker was a terrible parent, and eventually he basically sold Ancia off to the crown prince with the curse. Ancia cried to her dad and begged to not be forced to marry him, that she wanted to stay with her family (what a sweet girl) but he would always say,
“I’d you don’t like it go drown.” he would say that so often until Ancia finally got married.
She was actually so happy to finally be marrying and get away because eventually she lost hope with her family. She loved Diana, but she couldn’t be with her because then her dad would abuse her even more. The new wife and the dad would just be pure fucking monsters to Ancia, so she decided it would be best to accept fate.
HOWEVER, when she’s getting married she sees his face and is reminded by all the rumors and all the hate she has. This leads to her drowning herself. So honestly, the OG Ancia didn’t deserve anything that happened, she was just an innocent little girl who wanted some love from a toxic monster family :(

AIDHSJDB OKAY. WE GONNA GO BACK IN TIME FOR A WHILE SO STAY WITH ME.

(Time travel to when the first empire was built, thousand years ago or so?)
So things to remeber. Philip, guy named R, Ser and girl named L. OKAY SO IMMA DECLARE THIS STRAIGHT UP: this gets very twisty. So Ser, the goddess of light, first met the girl L and they became a besties. L fell in love with guy R, who was the crown prince of the empire. However, Philip is also in the friend group. Philip, is also a prince, but he was abandoned and abused by the king. He was left alone to rot and lost his mother at a young age. Philip is a fucking bastard who loves to use people to get what he wants. While R and L are happily in love, fucking Philip falls in love with L, but he uses Ser. Ser deeply cares and loves Philip, and Philip notices this. He decides to abuse Ser, THE FUCKING GODDESS OF LIGHT, and makes her think he’s in love with her. Okay so now Philip and Ser are engaged. Philip starts to manipulate her into doing things with her power, and then he says.
“You won’t leave me right? Like my dad an mom did? Well I can’t trust you...unless you give me all your powers.” Philip basically says he will abandon her if she doesn’t give him all her powers and turns human (goddess can turn human by giving all their power away to someone.) something important, is that L was her deep friend right, and L was so close that Ser the goddess gave her some of her light magic. Sadly th, Philip (being the fucking annoying bitch he is) managed to convince Ser that L was trying to ruin their realtionship, causing a wedge in their friendship. Okay back to the main thing, Philip is asking her for the rest of her power, lets say she gave L 10% of her power, he wants her to give her 90% left. Ser is a dumb bitch for most of the novel (until the end :3) and basically she does give him all the power. THIS FUCKER THEN GOES CRAZY AND ABADNONS HER, AND STARTS A CURSE/DIEASE KILLING OFF ALL ROYALS SO HE COULD RULE THE EMPIRE! the worlds biggest dickhead, he be so fucking toxic. Ser still stays by his side until...
She starts to suffer because even th Philip was the one who abused light power, since she gave it to him she suffered because of him. So Philip got off free, but Ser was basically dying.
THERES a really sad scene where ser tells him she’s getting sick because of what he’s doing, and he says “will it only affect you?” All worried. AND THEN SHE SAYS “only me” HE STARTS LAUGHING. I am not kidding, this dude laughed at the goddess who gave it all up for him. “I just used you, I don’t love you.” He said.
During this time, L (remember our girl who lost her one true love, R the crown prince cause ducking Philip killed him?) managed to contact Ser and they talk it out. L still defends Ser even th she’s the dumb bitch who wouldn’t stop loving him, and L tells Ser to take away Philips power.
BUT THIS BITCH REFUSES. “mAyBe hE sTiLL lOvEs mE” like no bitch he NEVER LOVED YOU. but anyways, ser refuses and she continues to be tortured by pain because of him :)
time skip to some days later. So Philip knowing that ser will eventually die because she’s human and she gave him all her powers ditches her. He goes to L, who is mourning over the loss of her husband and her love.
“I love you.” So Philip confessed to L. L IS FUCKING DISGUSTTEDDD. I mean disgusted like she knows he’s the cause so she runs away. That same day ser sneaks into her room. “Okay I’ll do it” ser says. She decideds to take L’s power she had once given her so she could regain her strength and kill Philip and avenge everyone...
But fails. “No no! I’m in love with you ser!” Philip tells ser, causing her to stop for just a sec and then he stabs her, and traps her inside the building, fire burning. Ser is trapped unable to die for thousands of years. While this girl is like that, L is kidnapped by Philip. L refuses to marry him no matter how much he forces her. He pays people to hurt her, abuse her until he can save her and look like a good guy, however L knows the truth. She notices that Philip is WRITTING down the history on stone tablets, but its full of lie saying that her dead husband, R, is the actually murder and starter of the curse and that Philip saved everyone. THIS IS A FUCKING LIEEE!!! R DIED BECAUAE OF PHILIP. L manages to write the truth but gets caught. L ends up dead, and Philip is crying because he really did love her in his toxic disgusting way.
you may be asking, why is this important? *smirk* well because our MC is L. She is actually reincarnated from her first life L, to her second life in Korea, to her third life as Ancia. And she dies in each body...even Ancia.
