I totally respect it but having trauma doesn’t mean you can treat people that way so I personally don’t like him that much. He treats the boy so bad and he is just too shy to speak up sometimes(the boy). If you’ve been through smth bad why are you treating someone the same way?? It just makes me sad, I hope he gets a character development. And I’m so proud of you for being here!! It really takes courage and I’m sure you are so brave. I hope you are doing okay!
I totally agree with him treating Yeonwu badly. But that non-consensual kiss is one of the significant reasons he is acting the way he and yeonwu knows he is partly to be blamed. If you notice in the bar scene, Taehwan says that he doesn't mind them (Taehee and Dijin) being gay its just that 1) it was unexpected 2) They did not tell him about it. Taehwan had brother-complex which explains the way he reacted/s. The thing is this problem is not dealt properly and Yeonwu being a maschoist doesn't help much either, rather it feeds onto Taehwan's behavior. In this story, it looks like Taehwan is the problem but actually Both of them are problematic in their own ways and for reasons which are not clearly addressed (at least Taehwan's). Also Thank you! I am doing great :) I hope you're doing great too!
I genuinely love Taehwan's character if I am being honest. As somebody who had internalized homophobia due to trauma/past I had a tough time accepting the fact that I was bi. Taehwan's internalized homophobia also seems something that is related to his past and Yeonwu kissing him
without his consent in highschool added on to it. Trust me, it is not easy to get over it if its something related to your past and significantly attached to you. So I am really hoping that the author treats Taehwan's character development in a good manner.
