Idk about you but the reason I hate Helena is because she’s chasing after victimhood or not speaking up when the crown prince reprimands Eris. She clearly doesn’t grasp the reality that her interactions with Eris always leads to the crown prince scorning her. She’s probably trying to get Eris to like her as well because she understands that everyone she talks to eventually falls for her charm. That dumb innocence is always frustrating in a character.

This was mentioned in another villainess manga (don't remember which tho) but it's a fact that this "innocent" Helena is not a good person, if she was, she would be more considerate in her actions.
No "good person" would actively be intimate with a taken man (one she eventually marries, mind you). With the rumours going around, I'm sure she is aware of how problematic her interactions with the CP are, but continues anyway. And, just like Eris said, they are well pass the age of forgiving for such shameless behaviour.
