They only introduced him as a woman to the family to avoid any problems(ie; his family being homophobic and hurting Minjoon), they only call him mama because that’s how Touma refers to him, whenever Touma isn’t around the guards call him by his name, and the only person who calls him “madam” is Shaw because he likes to tease Minjoon and thats just how their relationship is, in this chapter Ren didn’t call him madam in the raws he actually says “Minjoon-nim” . Also I believe the novel translator mentioned touma realized it’s not okay to call Minjoon mama in the future and he starts calling him “Joon” and “my love”. it’s okay to feel uncomfortable by the story, I just wanted to clarify that they’re not trying to feminize him in the actual story and it just seems to be lost in translation (づ ̄ ³ ̄)づ
Thank you! I actually really love the story so far (except the leopard tattoos ofc) I really like how Daiki has no prejudice against falling in love again although this time, with a man. I love Daiki’s late wife for being accepting, forgiving and sweet. I love Minjoon’s whole attitude when it comes to Touma. And for Touma, we all love Touma, that’s just the standard ╮( ̄▽ ̄)╭
I also realized how there are some translations that are off or doesn't make sense sometime, so thank you clearing that out~
The feminization feels gross at this point.
