So the alliance is made because Dion already know all of her plan (he is that smart) so for her safety, she decided to collaborate with him so that he won't go and tell everything to the big father. Dion doesn't care for anything apart for being somehow linked to Roxanna, not in a sexual way or anthing, just because she is the only one that kept her human sanity so she is the only thing that remind him his past human sanity. But in another way, he regrets what he did to her brother so he wants to die by her hands.

Secondly, the scene where ML's little sister was with FL's little brother was a scene from the og novel. It won't happen again because yes, ML didn't die and cameback to his family. So this was just a back to past scene.
