Its probably a dirty herb, plus who knows? Maybe that grass haves pees or smth more gross than it. Caterpillars, worms, germs and etc.

I feel bad for the prince because no one helped him and he had to figure out how to survive as a child all by himself. But how can Florentia be so upset about him eating herbs? She keeps calling it grass and I'm just like.. those are herbs. The medicine she handed him is probably full of distilled herbs as well
