Yeah, you're right. I actually dropped this a long time ago cos I don't really like stories about characters being reincarnated or even existing in another body. Well, all except for Wei Wuxian in Mo Dao Zu Shi.
I enjoyed reading it up till the moment I figured that there might be some future issues with that body. I really am getting too old to read such stressful stories so I drop them early enough.
