Wait !! there're not highschoolers?
In Japan being a freshmen or 9th grader is still middle school. So they have 7,8,9 for middle so three years of middle and for high school 10,11,12 so threes years again.
you don't get it what is the purpose of making story when they are so young.. she just wanted to gradually show how they grow up and not put all in 1 highschool year.. many years have passed and many things happened to them .
I wish they were a bit older >.>; It feels...strange reading about a romance between middle schoolers. Regardless of how 'mature' Natsume is, I'm just now sure how I feel about all this.
