Database maintenance most probably, they said it from the start didn't they? It looks easy from the front end but to run a website with thousands of manga, must be very complex on the backend.
If their maintenance is do not let people change their profile or name or email or even password and having many notification except having alll at one time I m very annoyed by this , I love to see my notification at 4 pm where I can bunchly see then read them cuz now I m not reading them cuz they come at very times it feel like owl to me I want mangago to fix it
May be thats happening coz they are just back and many uploads were left pending. So it could be that they wanna give upload of all mangas until the latest chapter. Might start uploading all at one time like last time after all pending uploads are updated till date. Just my thought. Could be like you said too. Lets see.

For such a long time there wasnt any access to this website. They said its due to maintenance being done. Thought they might be making a huge change and expected a complete makeover of this page.
