Actually yes it can. It seems he himself was abused and possibly raped as a child and living in a pre world such as this there is no “political correctness” and even more so it’s a hierarchy or power so since he his higher no one can say no we his judgment is already different and screwed from fucked trauma as well as power/culture so yes there is an excuse for it or a reason if you want to say.
