in that chapter with the apple vendor his dialogue insinuates that he remembers her, I forgot what he said, but it can insinuate he does remember some of his past memory including his neighborhood.

Candy's real name is Yunjae (as seen in the recent chapter). I read the raws a long time ago, so i forgot what has been revealed already, but after Hajun met a crying Candy, they became friends. Later Candy had to move away and his mom asked him if he wanted to say goodbye to his new friend. Candy ran and tried to find Hajun to say goodbye. He finds Hajun across a street and runs towards him not realizing that a vehicle is backing into his direction. Hajun saves him, but gets into an accident instead. When he wakes up in the hospital the only thing he remembers is Candy's crying face before he fainted and that the boy's name was Yunjae. After he gets discharged, he and his mom are walking home and they encounter a crying boy (the prof) and his mom. His mom calls him Yunjae. Hajun hears this and sees a scar on his arm and believes that he is that Yunjae (and that he got the scar from the accident). He grabs his arm and makes him take a picture together to remember bc the Prof was also moving away. Hajun and the Prof later reunite in high school again and Hajun recognizes the scar on his arm. The Prof is seen being bullied and Hajun takes care of his bullies. Hajun tells him that he was the boy that took a photo with him and asked him if he knew the origin of his scar (wanting confirmation that he is that Yunjae). The prof said no and they become close friends due to this misunderstanding. Later on (nearing the end of the season finale) Hajun gets into another accident and while the prof was visiting him in the hospital, Hajun asks him the same question from high school. The prof knows Hajun is looking for someone and it's not him, but still says he doesn't remember. At this point Hajun is coming very close to putting 2 and 2 together and from what I remember he eventually figures it out or has a strong idea. I still can't really tell if the Prof actually likes Hajun in that way or if he is just becoming jealous that his close friend for many years is being taken away by Candy. But while those two are talking, Candy is buying apples for Hajun to bring to him. The ajumma vendor recognizes Candy and asks how his mom is doing. Candy denies this saying she has the wrong person, but as he walks away, his inner monologue states that he does remember her. So we know that he remembers his past (or parts of it), but we still don't know why he goes by another name now and why he doesn't remember Hajun.
