I haven’t read the raws so idk but my theory is in their past lives cain was jooin’s dog that’s why he kept sniffing him because that’s what dogs do, cain sniffed him and might’ve remembered that same scent from
Many years ago... I also think Yahwi was his cat, in the other chapter cain says to yahwi something like at least I obey my master. Maybe the cat left or something I don’t actually know, just a guess.
