Horus is trying to prevent Seth from getting himself killed... Every time he does something like this, he makes himself weaker and thus an easier target for Osiris (aside from the threat of what Isis is planning). He definitely makes himself weaker and an easier target for Osiris (you'll see what I mean by the end of this match). It's because every time he (or any other god) acts like this, their minds stray from the "perfect mind" a god needs to have in order to master their full power, and that makes them become weaker.
