I don't think he was after I saw his reaction to when Ian said he didn't know he was Alpha.. It wasn't disappointed and it looked like he wanted to get closer to Hayoung. He even looked upset at Ian because he knew Hayoung likes guys with handsome faces lol. ╮(￣▽￣)╭
When Matthew asked "do u feel anything when we first met?", it feels like Matthew knew that they are soulmate.. but hayoung didn't realise it..
