The only thing that i can think of is that that black beast loved her, but she lost her memory of there time together bc she could not live where he lived???
But thats just my fantasy bc they didn't tell anything i loved the story, but they could tell us more???

Why did that dragon 'smirkt' at Sica and why (or what) did he tel that brother that it would not be long???
I guess that she is no longer a 'evil beast' but still...
And who was that 'beautyfull black beast' that was calling out?
