he can change and fall in love with another woman, but there is a process. HE HAS TO DIVORCE HIS WIFE FIRST!

People change. It's not surprising the husband cheated. He's a weak man. She needs someone strong and that can stand on his own two feet. As we can see, she's been the masculine one in their relationship (in the flashback of what it appears of her defending him from a bully and being arrested). I hope she can find someone who can protect and cherish her.
