not all sexualities require labels. so far for kota, his only experiences with gay sex have been the other dude, so it’s possible he’s just in love with his homie and doesn’t have eyes for anybody else, no matter their gender. the “are they bi or just gay in denial” debate isn’t really relevant to the plot
