ikr i feel like the characters introduced at the end were kinda rushed and a little bit shallow, and i think it would be better when they dragged out the misunderstanding of the two (i forgot the names but the girl lead and the boy lead) with a hint of past angst but overall i agree with you
They built up the story's 'conflict' too much for it to be resolved so quick and easily. The characters introduced at the end could have used more depth they felt almost unnecessary. The story also kept mentioning a past but never went much into detail. A lot was left vague and to the readers assumptions.
This is just my opinion though, all of it aside
