question.. what causes sex addiction? any thoughts?

constant need for attention/validation. Also loneliness and fear of stalling. It's probably different for a lot of people but this is what I know.

Sexual Harassment during early ages

Maybe rape or sexual harassment like in this one manhwa I read this guy was raped and locked up but when he escape or recused he become obsessed with sex and masterbating

From what I read it is because of constant sexual harassment and maybe rape at an early age.

Being sexual abused at a young age...

For me, it's the stress. When people have sex, the body releases dopamine which is a hormone that makes people feel happiness. Having sex in a way relieves people from the stress buildup

I feel like watching too much porn can also cause an addiction
