I cannot accept shota especially if that shota was drawn depicting a really young boy. I cannot no way.a total nooooo. So I avoid from reading it at all cost. But I'm okay with rape turn love. Idk if that's double standard or what.
i've only seen a few actual yaoi stories with shota but usually the underaged character is like 14-17... mind you, the age of consent in japan is 13. but i understand not being able to read the smut ones because it's weird but i just find it weird when people bash other people for being ok with it and i don't really understand it..

i understand that it's immoral in our world.. like that's manipulation and just disgusting and weird but, it's "fiction" and it's also what the author chose to write about.. like for me, it doesn't bother me.. except for the cliche storylines and cringe moments but at the same time, i don't know if it's just me but.. all manga/manwha/webtoons or w.e are in a completely separate realm for me.. like asian countries have a more defined line between real world and fantasy. like if you can't separate real world and fantasy, just say that..:/ you american people just seem too sensitive
