Exactly. Aria’s mom never said she hated her she just did what she had to do to let them both survive. idk where people get the idea that her mom is some ass.
Maybe mostly becuase mom enjoyed life as a countess without caring for the house or Aria, that's what I think. But they both benefitted from getting into the household, and since Aria is well prepared for the future, she has prevented her own death, as well as her mother's death.
