Yes, but they portray the main character soldier as friends with all the children - this isn’t true. Afghani people throw rocks at U.S. soldiers, they hate them. And for good reason, they’re destroying their country. Also U.S. soldiers are the main perpetrators of sexual violence, they don’t protect women from rape like the comic says.

Also i don’t think it necessarily glorifies the army considering one of the main people in charge of the FL is her ex boyfriend who is clearly corrupt and abusing power. And is still in charge. And how the army doesn’t actually care about the children which shows they were just making the schools for publicity... which you know, is pretty on point. The FL is the humanity of the story
