Okay, let me just recap some facts that are happening on the traitors Arc AND THAT ARE DRI...

But the protector is an idiot himself (don't mind me i still absolutely love rai to death) if he dies by using his powers if for being hot headed and not letting people help him. Frankenstein always has the desire to jump in and save the day, but his words are absolute. He can't go against his master orders even if he wants to. Every single battle, rai jumps in and say "It's my duty as the noblesse to defeat them..blah blah blah" If a noble person such as himself has authority over all the clan leaders including the lord than they can't go against his wishes even if they desire to help him.

Also i do not believe the current lord has the strength to handle them herself, she is not the old lord and hasn't even received this tittle until 500 years ago. Probably meaning, the her powers haven't been fully realize yet. If the old lord lived he would have been a lot stronger, also her soul weapon will never be complete, meaning that the full powers of a lord won't be realized. She is most likely a beast and overpowering if she fought the clan leader in a 1v1. But this is a group versus the lord, she won't be able to do much. She is strong but not super saiyan, the noblesses has more strength than the lord. If only the lord and rai joined strengths than the traitors would be dead...

I don't really think the purpose of the noblesse is really that of protector but more judge, jury and executioner. It is his duty to hold the nobles accountable for their actions more so than to protect them. Which is why he fights alone because it is his duty to force them into the eternal sleep if the fail to act as nobles. This is why he is the most powerful. Which is why he told the lord to stand back because to punish the traitors isn't the duty of the Lord but of the noblesse. It is the Lord's duty to protect the nobles which is why the lord is also so powerful. But it is Rais duty to punish should nobles fail to act like nobles.

Oh and I also think this is why nobles killed by rai is always at peace because in the end he sort of absolves them of their wrongs. Sort of like a last rites ritual. So yeah this is the duty of the noblesse which is why he chooses to fight alone

Urgh, I just think that there's no point in Rai fighting everyone 'cause its he's duty if he ends up dying anyway ╥﹏╥ It'd make a lot more sense if allies helped each other, duty and pride aside. Oh well, I guess common sense does not aply on the Noblesse' universe. They're not human after all ╮(￣▽￣)╭

Yeah I guess so. Rai's attitude makes me sad sometimes because he REALLY does not give a shit to his own life as long as he can save the others, and thats a really noble act, but it still annoys me （￣へ￣） Doesn't he realize that there are people who actually care about him and would be very saf if he died? WHAT WILL FRANKY DO IF HIS MASTER OS GONNE? ┗( T﹏T )┛
Anyway, about the lord, you're right, she would not be able to handle too many of the traitors. But, idk, maybe take down one at a time? Uh, well, better than doing nothing at least....but of course, if Rai tells her to step back I guess she doesn't have a choice..

Yes it will be very sad if rai dies. But I do think the lord has a choice in terms of fighting. I think that because a noble holds duty in such high regard they work hard not to trample on another's duty which is why they will hesitate to get involved in another's fight. I have a friend who I have a constant argument with about vampires, that we cannot hold them to human reasoning because in truth vampires are akin to animals but what sets them apart from Animals is their sense of duty and ability to hold themselves accountable. I think this is why Franky fights so hard because despite how long he has lived he still thinks and acts like a human, there fore he can change a thousand times and adapt and fight for his master because humans pride a loved one over duty most times. So let's watch Franky kick some buttヾ(☆▽☆). Also personally I wasn't too impressed with the lord and her show of power. It was a little bland for my tastes after such a tense entrance. Hopefully we get to see the lord full show of power

he knew that there are people who care for him. he had a taste of that when he came to the school and it's always been his oasis and has somewhat changed him and became close to the new generation elders. but his real identity after all is being the noblesse so as much as you and everyone else insists that he wanted help, when it is needed, it's his duty that he's doing unfailingly for 800 years now as the highest authority like we can't fathom. all we could do is to cross our fingers and hope for the best... a plot twist or something.
also, most of the time, when it is not his time to 'judge', he'd let others fight when he knew that the person can handle himself/herself. the others understand his wordless way of saying "this is too much for you"

I must say though that the traitors piss me off big time especially Ragus. How dare him saying he's gonna finish what he started. Like I cannot fathom why they are so different in their way of thinking, those traitors. No one is trying to imprison them. What gratification can they get when they use their powers on powerless humans? If they are responsible adults, they need to act like it! grrrr! and did I mention that NOT ONE OF THEM DIED YET? so frustrating!!!
