I felt bad at him too, well, both of them. They have to struggle a lot.
Yeah but the reason Kang is a “failure” is because jeohoon marked him by accident and so when jeohoon left for the 7 years, kang had major withdrawal symptoms cause his mate isn’t with his anymore which basically made it hard for him to function in society, and it’s also the reason why he fainted in the exam

Jeohoon (MC) seems to better off than Kang. Sure, he had to raise his daughter for 7 years by himself and he worked as a barista instead of completing college. But he seems happier and mentally stable than Kang.
Kang didn't accomplish anything his family set up with him. His sister made that clear when she was the only one establishing herself, even when all hope was on him. The only thing he was known for was for fainting the entrance exam, which he failed. Then, he went AWOL and kept enduring as the disappointment of his family.
I feel bad for Kang, but the misunderstanding did start with him.
