for real. I feel like when this trope normally happens, they try to communicate by like pointing at each other and being like "my name is ___" and then pointing to the other person. Other things like that with gestures. She doesn't do anything to try and understand him hahaha
It's mad awkward becuase he tried to talk and she like (●￣(ｴ)￣●)
She can't speak, she lost the ability after a traumatic experience. So she can only make sounds. Though that shouldn't stop her from pointing.

She's basically whimpering, and making all kinds of noises besides actually speaking. I get that it would have no point by then, since they wont be understanding each other. But she's basically not doing anything else besides that.
