Well she starts off as a fat girl(depends on if you think that’s “ugly” or not) but she has pretty average looks. It’s just that she’s always being compared to her siblings. So it’s half half depending on how you look at it. I think it’s more on the bullied into thinking that she is.

She’s not ugly but because she’s chubbier than most people, people consider her and label her as “ugly” mainly because being chubby isn’t up to their beauty standards and that her being curvy wasn’t exactly socially acceptable. Plus, her younger sister was constantly compared to her and because her younger sister outshone her, people disregarded her. It got worse because she became mean to her younger sister which just fueled everyone’s hate.
Ok soooo before I read this, is she actually ugly? Or does she just get bullied into thinking that she is? I need to know before I read for personal reasons. Please and thank you
