The character development started back when SH gave up on punishing NK with the carpet beating after he was accused of destroying the drawing (Jihwa's trap). It was chapter 12 or something from season 1!! From there, it was a progressive and slow caring. Calling a doctor for a lowborn like NK. Letting him rest in his room because it's warmer. Feeding him like a noble. Buying him warm outfit. Washing him after sex while NK was asleep... Every Single Time! Threatening and almost killing his noble friends to protect NK... I mean, I just don't get how people are not seeing all this and complain about a sudden character development. For god sake, go and read this story again. You're missing the whole thing!!

I dont know why some of the people in the comments are saying that there's no character development for seungho, character development isn't something we can see really obviously and quickly. Character development is just like how people change in life, it isn't fast and it doesn't show that much. We change slowly, it isn't like suddenly you become a good person, after just one day, that's just impossible. For seungho to ask for consent, for seungho to be this freaking soft is already a part of his character development. In the future he may become a jerk once again because of something but as I was saying before, that's how people are too. People don't suddenly change for the better in a blink of an eye and sometimes we revert back to how we are before cause change is difficult you know? So yeah, think about it. But I really hope that there will be a happy ending for both of them. Thank you for reading my rant. BTW please don't attack me, we can talk in a calm manner okay?ヾ(❀╹◡╹)ﾉ~
