Sooo she gives the Duke an amulate or something to keep him safe and he is very proud because of that and brags about it in front oh his sons (who are gelouse bc they didn't get one) and everybody else at the hunting grounds (gosh I love the Duke so much). She wants to give Raynolds one too but Calisto steals it bc he wants one too. Before the competition they are attacked by a group of magicians that trigger and event and Penelope like a badass defends everybody with her crossbow and saves everyone. Then, after she fights with the other ladies at some tea party, she goes solo in the wood to hunt some rabbits but comes face to face with a giant bear. Calisto saves her but after that they are attacked by some assasins so they start running. They are riding Calisto's horse together and she shots the beads from the crossbow, defeating some of the attackers but not all of them. I don't remember exactly what happens now but Calisto gets injured by a poisoned dagger so they must jump in a river to save themselves. They find a cave and spend the night there...veery close (≧∀≦) after that they discover in the cave the remains of a wizard and some teleportation scrolls and get out of there (they couldn't walk bc they didn't know where they were and Calisto was injured). After they teleport back in the woods Calisto faints from the poison so Penelope runs searching for help but she is accused of attentive murder of Calisto (bc they were alone and the assassins can't remember a thing bc of the beads that made you forget). Hope it makes sense
