Tbh, she has been manipulated. She thinks the princess dislikes her bc her existence would represent an obstacle to her ascending the throne, she wanted a family and feels left behind by her adoptive and biological family, she thinks the princess lies bc, well, she is hiding the truth (and also lies). People reading the story forget that Jeanette is a literal child, manipulated by her “father”, and feels left behind by everyone.
She is gullible and innocent and kids tend to be. She is not victimizing herself, her feelings are realistic
She is the victim though, she is annoying but still a victim
jeanette is one of those annoying characters who acts innocent and always thinks they’re the victim
