I'm p sure nan jue has been lying all this time abt the whole image thing and just used it so he could escape his abusive ex. i have a feeling the climax episodes are going to be v emotional bc qi shi, who's practically in love w nan jue, is going to feel hella hurt to learn he was being used. I really excited for was the final episodes bc even I feel a little hurt rn :'(
