I feel as though it isn't a big deal because the love that she gives him isn't a type of love that a mothers shows her child more like a sister taking care of her younger brother. The kid falls in love with her FIRST and she was the first person to ever show him love and keeps it that way until the 18+ ML starts making moves on her. Its not like they IMMEDIATELY go into a lover relationship but it takes a long time for that to happen. But it does feel a big wrong but at the same time this isn't real and just for entertainment.
