How did you choose your major? I'm at that cursed age where they expect you to choose a job and to choose a college but I have ZERO lead. I dont want to randomly be a doctor JUST because it pays more than my life is worth or get me five Ferrari in the future. Be doctor they said, you'll be rich they fucking said, not before I get sued for killing someone and get my license taken and years of college money wasted. I dont want to go through years of college just to regret it at the end of the road. And honestly, if I graduated from 12 year of prison-- I meant school, I dont want to go for ANOTHER 12 year, and focusing on ONE subject at that. Science is out of my field of expertise. I do good in math and all but no blueprints are made on extending it any longer than now. History, the only history i remember is my history and im already having trouble. And then there's the job growing and decreasing problem, what if I wanted to be a bridge engineer person(I don't) and the future end up NOT needing them?? What about architects?!?! Do they even need architects later because every house is just trying to survive and don't really care about the design, unless u land of those big shots celeb or something. Do I choose base on my hobbies? No, because not everyone is fortunate enough to do what they like. I'm a jumper, I try out everything, every skill and end up with nothing because I never have the heart to stay long enough to be adept. I know if i choose art related careers, I'm going to lose my passion faster than I gain. How do you choose a hammer wisely without it pounding your head later on?. ....(╯°Д °)╯╧╧

Choosing a major was hard for me too. I sat around wondering what I should do with my life. Eventuall, I took a giant leap of faith and chose a major that I vowed I'd never be good at. I'm an actress. I major i... Ichigo

Business school? I think you need all around knowledge to be able to grow in this field, and it's open to many opportunities too.

Lol, I hope so too. But I have a tough battle ahead of me. I'm Chinese and the chances of Asians getting cast as main cast is about 1%. But I'm not giving up.

As for your dilemma, don't rule out a major just because you feel inferior or unfit for it. If you really can't decide, be a liberal arts major for a while, feel out what it's like to be in college. You'll choose eventually. (๑•ㅂ•)و✧
