Probably just an asshole. I feel likes he's really just mean. The princess was probably trying to protect her from that asshole cause I read a spoiler that she actually cares about the Mc a lot.
Wait she cares for FL? She sure has a strange way of caring then.. puplicaly humilliation, bulliying, slandering, and acting all shocked and diserpointed that Fl broke the curse and questioning Fl's every action.. + isnt she the daughter of the woman who got the nobels to force Fl's dad to marry her.. from what i remember Fl's father fell in love with fl's mother a commoner but was forced to marry princesses mom for "the nobel blood" and all that..

The emperor isn't Alexa's real father. And he's trying to kill Alexa. The princess apparently did all that to save her. :/ Which hmmm I don't really get as well. But I guess we'll find out as the story progress.

He apears to hate her... and want to be with her sister (them flirting and showing off afection). But the second she calls off the engagement and gives them her blessing.. their relationshim goes in the dumpster.. Was the ex and the sister just tolerating eachother to make her life miserable? Now at the hunting competition.. when ex chose the sister he was smirking at fl like he had just kicked a dying dog and was enjouying it. And yet here he is helping her and getting pissed she shows fawor to someone els..
