Lawrence isn't a good person but...

I can't help it but, I kinda pity Lawrence....jn a sense ,that his whole life he's essentially been groomed by his mother not for his own good but for hers, she is a really selfish and greedy person. The way she manipulated her children in 2 horrible ways. Sometimes it feels as if he's never really seemed to have developed any forms of attachment to anything, besides becoming emperor and no attachment to any person besides to himself. And there are moments wheres I can't tell what sort of emotion he has, very cold and lifeless. not sure if he becomes More of a active villain later on in the story, I do see the moments where he shows his anger and cruelty. And yet I was really just thinking of the reason he turned out like this was it just because of how the mother raised him and coddled him and instilled this entitlement, I don't know if he's ever completely got anything in his life by his own merits...course I could be completely wrong and just wasting time lol was thinking way too hard on this
