I think the way their relationship began was 100% awful, very much creepy, and off but overtime it got better since feelings became mutual between them. I definitely had to force myself to continue through the beginning though
haha yes, that is what it looked like and I think that is the beauty of this mana that it makes you think it's one thing but with the ending chapters clearing up why everything happened, why sungyeon was so attached to hosik and so damn scared to leave him alone, why hosik accepted him in the first place because he too had feelings for him, their tragic past lives and so on.

I see your point. I still think there are better ways to show your love than raping an unconscious person. Also they don't remember their past lives. I think author also realized that beginning of the manga was not the best and added that chapters to make it a bit more romantic. And even though after some point he got used to it, Hosik was very uncomfortable with everything at the beginning. I know as a long time reader in yaoi universe as long as main character starts to act like a normal human being we forget everything and support their love. But at least in most of the yaois they portray the love between them even though it's unreasonable. But here I didn't even feel the love and it was uncomfortable. But this is just my opinion.
For example, painter of the night, we all know the seme is acting like an asshole, but at least everyone knows that. But here most of the comments are saying this one is very fluffy or the cutest love story.
i completely respect your viewpoint and I understand where you are coming from. However as you said, it was from your point of view, similarly the way I saw it was the sex non consensual? Yes. Was it messed up? Yes.
