It's the same with kdramas and second lead syndrome. The writers know how to slow torture us. We keep reading because now we have to be sure the new guy gets kicked to the curb so we keep our happy ending

Why is it that anytime something gets good there is always an interruption like another hot guy to step in and destroy everything
