All wuxia stories are like this. They all start out with a seemingly interesting concept, but then fall into the same formula almost without fail. New area -> MC encounters the villains of the area along with one, or maybe two friendly/recurring groups/people -> the villains keep insulting and belittling MC -> Some other stuff happens, usually involving some woman/girl -> MC crushes the villains because he's OP -> Everyone is amazed at MC's power and "failed to see mount tai" -> New area.
But yea lately there's been quite a few manhua where the villains aren't even believable. End of area: "MC defeated X powerful force! Everyone will know his name!" New area: "Who's this trash?! I'll kill him!" At this point everyone should know his name/appearance...
Too bad...I really liked his personality. He doesn't go blushing every time a girl flirts with him unlike other (manhuas?) He's also really op. The story is quite shitty tho. And people there are really just dumb characters made for the MC to step on. I was hoping another character to be his friend or to have a character development but there's none. They're just stuck there with that personality and thinking. Imma drop this~
