I think rather than a freshly sharpened sword (since it would give them a quicker death) A blunt axe is better. Or an axe or sword that would "accidently" break when used so it gets stuck and cause them more suffering. also the crowd throwing salt at them would be nice too.

I just can't with Charlize's family + the Emperor!
I just want to strap all their heads to a guillotine and PERSONALLY use a fReShLy sharpened sword (specially bestowed to me by Charlize) and enjoy the view of their heads roll cleanly to the floor like a ball. ヾ(☆▽☆)
They would be placed on unwanted wood (for them to understand their "worth") before their glorified deaths, so as to NOT dirty the earth with their vulgar blood - later to be disposed by the elegant fire. (≧∀≦)
Ahh, but don't think that's it! No no. I will thoroughly complete this job by reversing time and repeating this beloved method, for approximately 500 years, making sure all their memories intact during the process.
