I've spoken up about this several times and I got pure hell from others. The honorifics and titles can throw you off, the similar names, that the names are foreign and unfamiliar as names, I've mentioned that the honorifics don't mean anything to English speaking people, and it would be helpful to leave off at least a few of them. There's also the problem remember character's names when the actual name is constantly replaced with a word like "senpai" and "sunbae." It means a lot to people who speak Japanese and Korean. To me it's a generic name replacement that makes it difficult to remember character's names. You can't say a word about it that someone doesn't jump your case for the sin of having a hard time keeping track of characters. I've even been called a racist over it like trying to make suggestions that would help me and others understand better is racist. right. sorry for the bitter sound of this, but my advice is to keep saying something about it and eff the people who can't resist making it a problem that you asked or made suggestions.
Does anyone else find it hard to read manhuas? I'm reading heaven officials blessing rn and i keep forgetting their names
