I want to see it in a more pure way so... billie loves jack. jack is hetero, so coupling with billie's sister makes billie able to bind jack to himself. jack had a puppy love with ah gu, which never came to fuition, especially because they were fighting so much in the latter state of their friendship, there is probably no way to return, even to being friends (torn picture), he doesn't want to let this happen again. so when he met ronnie, he relived nostalgia, but also took the chance to really fall in love, despite all rumors and stuff. ronnie was in love with his teacher ... considering the predisposition of teacher student relationship (won't go more into this... it is the typical thing). you can't be too sure how true ronnie's feeling really were, especially because he was afraid enough to report his teacher to the principal. but this and the rumors left a scar on him... so I think that he actually fell in love with jack for real. but billie told him some shit and that's why he said that stuff about the teacher, billie waiting in front of the door and giving him 10 bucks. If you think about it... why would he have done it with jack before? it wasn't his first time. and how come billie was there at that time? so basically jack is back on the right path, with a dream he had of love. with billie as his friend and ronnie as an quiet outcast. basically returning to the starting point of the story
