we love her not cause she's not toxic (i love myself a good toxic ml) but because her goals aren't shaken by love or a man or whatever. if it was him doing it, his goal would probably be the same AND obtaining the fl's love, with force. there's a difference between using someone for your personal goals and forcing someone to come to love you

Yea it's manipulative but even if reverse gender i dont think it's a big deal, cause both parties will get something out of it. I think you're mistaken with the other story where the male betrays the female living her with nothing. The prince knew also the mc had a ulterior motives from the start. And the mc trained him to be something bigger not using him to be a queen or empress. Which also be better for the country and the ppl living there.
u have a good point there but for me i only see something toxic going on here at thihs point with the title, male lead will be obsessed with her I SAW THE POTENTIAL OF A YANDERE and i dont like it but the story plot is good i really want to see whats going to happen next
