yeah absolutely worth it , it's like a relationship between an introvert and extrovert , the dude with red is actually so nice and funny, the one with the hat is pretty savage , The story really took another turn, it's not about revenge or abuse, but rather that he wanted to gain the trust and love of the person in the hat ( sorry for my bad english)
hey yeah believe me ive read the novel and even i gotta admit that jaeyoung was a huge asshole at the beginning of the story, and that’ll never change. but reading it is really worth it because we get to see both jaeyoung and sangwoo being vulnerable with each other and work their differences. we get to see them change and compromise to adapt one another’s behavior. if you ask me, even i think that jaeyoung is the one who compromises more. yes he was annoying at first but as the story goes he’s actually really patient and takes his time with sangwoo! there’s this dialogue when they were about to have their first time but it was canceled bc sangwoo was scared to death (reason being: first, he did research on gay sex and stumbled upon this bdsm site, and he watched videos of extreme bondage, gang bang, and stuff like that so he just thinks that sex would absolutely hurt. and second, in all the videos he saw, someone should put it in the others, and he didnt want to put it in jaeyoung’s), basically sangwoo threw a tantrum and bawling and stuff bc he suddenly didnt wanna do it even tho theyve promised each other they would, and he also didnt tell the reason why. anyways after jaeyoung knows the reason, he patiently explained how big of a misconception that was, saying somethings along the lines of:
- our relationship is just between two people, you and me (to address the gangbang)
- i dont want to beat you up and i dont want to be beaten, im not gonna hurt you and i dont want to be hurt (to address the bdsm)
- i wont ever force you to anything, i will only do things if you ask me
- im aware that your mind is more complicated than others, so i will wait for you. lets take this slowly
uh i gotta explain what i meant that he was an asshole and that will never change, i meant that this annoying impression of him at the beginning of the story will never change, even after ive read everything and has seen his incredible character development, when i reread the novel from the start i will always be upset at first-volume-jaeyoung, thats what i meant. i didnt mean that he will always be an asshole lol
can anybody tell me if this is actually worth reading because I'm hating the dude with red hair he seems like such an asshole and I don't appreciate how he's treating the other dude because he failed to pass the class him self and decided to blame the other guy. also I wanna know if there's any stereotypes like sexual assault and toxic relationships
( I don't care about spoilers)
