"They should have implied he was bi in the original story". Like, why would they? A lot of characters in stories we read could be bi, but if it's not relevant, you wouldn't mention it. I have characters in stories I wrote that are bi, but I don't ever mention it because it is literally not necessary at all lol.

a lot of people are saying "he was supposed to be gay", how do you know-? just because he was a main character in a BL novel do you just assume he's gay? dude... he can be bi, pan, poly or wtv, he isnt obligated to like one gender just because he was originally supposed to like one man.
