Ignorance is a sin. Yes she’s young, she’s innocent, all these horrible people are around her. But I think everyone is pissed off because she’s not using ANY critical thinking skills and just letting herself get manipulated. Like girl pleaaase think for one second. She’s swayed so easily by the words of those around her and it sucks because while she’s thinking about “does the princess like me” the princess is literally acting as the the stand-in emperor for an entire nation, dealing with politics among nobles and the country, trying to figure out how to get her father’s memory back, and ensure that she and her family stay alive. And the frustrating thing is just one of Jeanette’s naive actions can be used to bring the princess down, since Jeanette is now also recognized as a member of the royal family. I just wish the girl had some more brain cells bc sheeesh. this is not it rn
