I'm not sure if I understand correctly either, but, in this world there is only one Saint(or one in each continent - most likely the former).
She owns a portal, which as the mc said, is like a house. The key is that blue stone necklace that she has.
The blue braclet ml had, was something from said, "house," like the key, but a weaker version that can give vague directions to the portal. This is the reason he went to mc's house, as the bracelet directed him there.
I would presume that the bracelet stone was absorbed by her necklace (or key, if that's what you want to call it). So now ml probably knows that the mc is the other saint.
So the saint that everyone knows about can only go short distances, so let's say she can only go to different cities. But the mc can go to other continents, which is why everyone is confused.
Though the saint has already said she didn't do it, people are suspecting that she's lying, or rather the ones backing her up - probably to hide their hidden card sorta thing, you know?
As little has been told about how the saint knows where the portal is, either she was reincarnated like the mc or the key chose her.
Theory:
I was thinking that mc's past life teacher wrote this as a story and thats why mc was told about the directions to the portal. Or, that mc's teacher is some spiritual being that decided to help her.
