I don't like the emperor

I understand that Sienna is so noble that she doesn't really demand her father to act as a father but come on, it was really obvious that the emperor is playing favourites. Considering how he basically neglected Sienna, it's just so unfair. He didn't even ask her opinion and his Imperium will threaten Sienna's chance to be the Emperor. But I get his reason for the Imperium, I just dislike how unbalanced his support is. First, he bestowed a title for the Iron King right on Sienna's birthday and now he's outwardly expressing favor to Marquis Raad who is known as an ally to the Iron King. So much for a so called perfect demigod

I agree with you but at the sam time I understand his motives. The red king is a big threat, and to me it seems like her influence is on par with the Emperor's. if he were to support Sienna then her mother's ( red king ) influence would overrule the Emperor's.

Additionally the injustices and crimes against the Iron
king are a lot too. The Emperor's is apologising to him. Also he is the first inline technically anyway.

He should confided in Sienna and explain to her... but again the Red King was the problem. I wonder if he was planning for this moment to overthrow the red King.

That might be so, since the Imperium would throw the Red King's influence into chaos. But in doing so, the Emperor does not only suppress his wife's power but also Sienna's. There's a lot of miscommunication happening between the Emperor and the Silver King, I just don't get why Sienna's father can freely talk to the Iron King but does not do so with his own daughter. Sienna lived her whole life with one future in mind, a future that she might not have. If the Emperor intervened earlier, he could have manage to lessen the Red King's influence. With his guidance, his daughter probably wouldn't rely too much on her mother. It's just sad how the Emperor seems to never really care that much about Sienna.

This might come off as OA but I'm just really bothered by the negligence.

Definitely! I guess it is because of the type of education he received and the attitude he developed towards any familial relations. but you are right... a failure as a father!

i would like to know his thoughts, especially about the incident from 25 years ago. His Father orchestrated a massacre along with red king's family. Could that event have messed him up? Also, was he looking for his son?

whatever the case, you are definitely on point; he shouldn't have neglected his daughter since she was an innocent child.

totally agree. guess the Emperor can't be good at everything and I don't like how he treats his own daughter (/TДT)/
