Idk...I think his mom was probably never “kind”. She seems like the dependent type that won’t go out of her way to hurt or be mean to her kid...until she is in a relationship. Like the type to always neglect the kid in favor of finding a partner and then being willing to abuse or let her kid be abused to keep that relationship. It’s sad how many parents are like that...
